Ernie .. To think the last time I see you was my last .I promised you a fresh sea food gift .. You have been in my life since a child .off on holiday again Ernie ? You would say I would sell up and move .. You had a tone in your voice that I haven’t heard before .. only from you . I would often run up the road to borrow hairspray before school when I was a teenager .I remember a trip to Scarborough when I was a child . I would often give you a Toot when I see you walking up and down buck-land road .. or I would shout oi oi Ernie from my mums front door . You also gave me walnuts from the tree and how can I forget how you introduced me to fish .. I still to this day like cockles..next time I order sea food I will order but on the menu .. For you ...
